I’ve lived in environments where thinking clearly wasn’t optional, it was survival.

I’m a Marine Corps veteran, entrepreneur, and parent who’s spent years operating in high stress, high stakes systems where bad information gets people hurt and blind obedience gets people controlled. I’ve seen what happens when people stop thinking for themselves and start outsourcing judgment to authority, technology, or convenience. You probably have, too, and if not.. just look around next time you're out and about.

That’s why I started paying close attention when I saw the same pattern repeating..this time with AI.

Not as a tool, but as a crutch.

Not as "leverage", but as substitution for thinking.

The AI Trap was created because I don’t believe the greatest risk of artificial intelligence is what it can do but what it slowly trains humans not to do: reason, question, remember, and decide independently.

I’m not anti-technology. I’m anti-dependency. I do think AI is a great tool when used correctly.
